Dancing House (Tančící dům)

This modern work, built between 1994 and 1996, was born in an empty area, also near the river Vltava. The architects are the American architect Frank Gehry and a Slovenian architect Vlado Milunič, installed in Prague. The house is inspired by the famous dancers Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, often also called, 'Fred and Ginger'. Currently, there is the Dutch Insurance House and on the rooftop is a fine restaurant that offers, besides good food, also the wonderful views of the river, Prague Castle, including the Charles Bridge, and of other famous monuments.
