Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Lord (Kostel nejsvětějšího srdce Páně)

This modern church was erected, in the centre of the Jiří z Poděbrad Square, in the years 1928 - 1932, according to the plans of the Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik. The building consists of one nave, the architect was inspired by the early Christian basilicas. The interior of the church is simple. The large external clock recalls the roses we found normally on Gothic cathedrals.
